Mina’s turn 😍

Once again, just like with Abby, I haven’t had as much time as I would have liked to work with the girls this year. Towards the end of the season, we finally had a little spare time, so we headed off to the Galloway Country Fair.
Mina absolutely loved it.
Not only did she take part in the scurry, where I was incredibly proud of her, but she also competed in the Novice Spaniel Test and came away with 3rd place.
And honestly, she could have done even better… but that one was down to handler error.
Yep. I let her down.
No one is perfect, and when I’m competing, my brain seems to go into a little bubble where it’s just me and my dog. I forget about the rest of the world… including the small detail that I’m actually supposed to wait for the judge! 🤣🫣
But mistakes happen, and we learn from them.
What matters most is how proud I am of this little girl.
Well done, Mina. You are my little girl and always will be.
